This page contains help on how to post a Placement Opportunity (PO from here on) on the POWER site. If you got stuck during the process, you came to the right place.

If you are an Institution representative and your Institution is not registered to this site yet, check the 'How to start using the POWER platform?' chapter.

How to start using the POWER platform?

If you are a Company representative, all you have to do is post a Placement Opportunity, there's no more to it. If you can not find the Institution you'd like to send a Placment Opportunity to, see the Encourage Institutions to register chapter.

If you are an Institution representative and you already have an account, please log in here. If you don't have an account yet, write to it.support@uni-foundation.eu with:

  • Your Name
  • Your Email address
  • The name and Erasmus code of your Institution
  • Your affiliation and title at your Institution

and we will guide you through the process.

How do I post a Placement Opportunity?

  1. To initiate the process, click on the Post PO menu item on the top right of the navigation.
  2. Add the details of the PO, by filling out every required piece of information on each page. When in doubt what to add to a certain field, read the description below the boxes or hover over the question marks next to the field titles.
  3. When you're done with a page, click the next button.
  4. Note, that you'll be asked to pick visibility on the Publicity settings page. Options and the implications of choosing them are the following:
    1. Public opportunities (pick Public for this option) are available to all students from every Institution registered on this site
    2. Private opportunities (pick To this Institution for this option) are only visible for students of the Institution you pick from the appearing list.
    3. If you can't find the Institution you'd like to send the PO to, they're not registered on the site yet. For further information see the "Encourage Institutions to register" chapter.
  5. When you've completed all the pages of the post placement opportunity form, you'll have the option go to a preview page, where you can see all the data you entered. Please avoid using your browser's back button if you'd like to correct any piece of information on previous sections of the form!
  6. If you've reviewed the Placement Opportunity you entered and all the data is correct, push the Submit PO button to finalize the PO.
  7. The rest of the process will be handled through emails you'll get from the platform.

What happens after successfully posting a PO?

  1. When you're done and have hit the Submit PO button, you'll get an email to confirm the address you gave as contact email. Please follow the instructions detailed in the message.
  2. If you didn't get an email, check your spam folder for items having POWER in the subject of the mail.

Encourage Institutions to register

If you couldn't find an Institution you'd like to post Placement Opportunities to, contact their Career Centers and encourage them to register on this site. We're sure they'll be happy their students are in demand on the labour market. This site is free to use for all parties involved!
